Hustle For A Sunrise ☘

It was an evening, waiting for my father to return from work, so I can ask for permission. To take me out to surf on unknown paths all alone. I was somewhere sure that his answer will be a big no, but he knew things, what he said: “जा घुम के आजा” (*he agreed).
Now, what left was to see for early departure, the quickest left window was for the day after tomorrow.

So all set but but but was I prepared to do it all alone, the decision to travel solo was out of some fury over my past experiences of all cancelled plans by my squad, will share about this some other time. But for now, I was sure “if not today then never”. One time is enough, enough to convince myself that yes I can do it all alone.

11 Dec 2019 Morning 04:30 “मै और मेरी तन्हाई 😅” at Nagpur railway station, temperature as low to 15°C and I heading towards south.
It wasn’t much late to realize that the winter suits I carried with were just a burden.
woohoo by 08:00 pm the same day was there in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐— To Be At Coastal Areas Of Our Country Winters Or Post Rainy Season Are The Most Favourable Time, Weather There At Coast Is Pretty Bit Mild And Humid Too (25 Degree+)

Now the diversity of my country is so big that just with Hindi you can’t survive in the south, to learn Tamil in a day also not a possible one. So, what now answer was there in

Smartphones really serve the purpose if used wisely, it told me exact timing of the sunrise

Just Type “Sunrise/Sunset In My Location” In Google Bar

and compass told me the direction of the sunrise. these two things have helped me a lot to not miss a single sunrise along the east coast and sunset along the west, you can’t expect vice versa thing from the respective coasts.

⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐— One Day Thing In Chennai — Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral Basilica, Arulmigu Kapaleeswar Temple, Kasimedhu Fishing Harbour

There is more to do in the city but sometimes I personally feel it’s more important to give ourselves time to recreate in some particular place, it’s important to spend quality time if you are on go because traveling is not an assignment to submit for which one has to rush. So be there, sit, walk, feel ❣

For the day sunrise was scheduled at around 06:20 am, and I was all set to catch it at 04:30 am itself. All I had was a morning walk from the place of my stay near govt. estate metro station, it was about 1.2 km walk, all fresh air, and the breeze of the sea was so powerful to feel it from that long. It was a moment of somewhat joy of reaching the destination as soon as I was able to hear the waves, one can even have goosebumps by just imagining “sea breeze hitting your face, those melodies waves, and all cold sand”
I reached there at Marina Beach by around 05:00 am, only a few people jogging around, dogs still barking as it was still somewhat dark, ” faat Bhi Rahi the”, but there was no u-turn.

the arrangement I made to capture this by my phone was a bit funny, wasn’t having another phone or else had captured that too. It was more than 2 dot hours and was not ready to leave that shore, those crows and birds and slowly the beach started getting busy, as people started gathering there to enjoy the day, but the sunrise there is worth the hustle.

I picked one from Marina Beach station and then it was time to move ❣

07:35 am Santhome Cathedral Basilica Next place 📍to reach was a Church, Santhome Cathedral Basilica. After 30 mins of paddling (Marina Beach——-Church~3.6 km), I was bit exhaust (the last time I paddled a cycle was around 6 years back and when you suddenly hop on it, that never gonna turn in your favor 😅) also as I was paddling along the shore it was fu****g humid. Churches are love may it be the Jesus or may it be the faith it’s kind of loving things, also churches are very peaceful, isn’t that? And when it comes to its architecture, India has a lot to speak ❣. Time to pray 🙌👏🙏🙇and to sit in peace ✌.

07:50 am Arulmigu Kapaleeswar Temple To be there in the southern part 🇮🇳 you can’t miss the temples, it was just a km away so my next move was to reach there ❣. Kapaleeswar temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parvati ☘.

One thing to share people in the South is more abide by their culture, religion, language, ethics, and food as compared to any part. It’s always better to help the culture sustain rather than copy and paste and people they know how to protect and how to follow it correctly.

Paddling done for the day, it was time to drop bicycle back to Marina, now it was city bus woooohaa again thanks to technology and all the kind brothers and sisters from South who never failed to help me.

Google Maps do tell you the city bus numbers and from where to board for some cities.

Some places don’t have this thing yet so don’t worry believe in humans and especially when you are in the South 🇮🇳, no one will turn you down.

Just deal with a smile 🙂

11:00 am Kasimedu Harbour Bus number 2A then 1A and deboard at N4 Police Station, from there it’s just a walk away KASIMEDU BEACH. It’s a fishermen harbor less visited one, you can say it an underrated one. To know the worth of someplace one needs to be there. I spent my quarter part of the day here just sitting at the stones and admiring the sea, the fishermen’s routine, and the whole sea life. The sun was above me but the sea breezes were so cool to keep me hydrated ❣ . The waves and the music were so romantic that it still haunts me, still whenever I close my eyes that sea is in front of me ☘. “खाली हाथ गया था, सुकून साथ ले आया” !!!!!

All was worth the hustle…………..

Chennai was nice enough, the people I met were nice, all good ones.
